Fall Recruits, September 25-27, 2009
in Lee's Summit, Missouri
We have a really great convention in the works for Fall Recruits starting off with the 65th anniversary of Operation Market Garden, a themed Flames of War Tournament that is going to be spectacular. Look for future updates for this and other events over the next couple months.
Besides the FoW event there will also be another Warmachine tournament planned as well as more Highlander CCG. We are also looking forward to try our hand once again with a new edition Fields of Glory.
As ever, no Recruits can be successful without the willingness of game masters to share their time and talents with us on our three-day gaming fest. If you have not yet done so, please use our on-line game master registration form or feel free to send us an email at Duane@Recruits-con.com.
If you think you might be interested in running an event please register at your earliest convenience, it would be great to have working PEL by mid July. So please come share your love of the hobby with others by running a game! Our goal for this year is to ask everyone to play in at least two games or run one and play in another. I know selfish of us to ask folks to have fun, but their are a lot of game masters looking for players who would love to show you a good time! LOL
Our Gallery page has been newly updated with Spring 2009 pictures. If you have pictures you would like to share, we will take them if you got them. So please feel free to send them our way. RECRUITS is primarily designed to introduce new players from all over the Midwest to miniature gaming. New gamers both young and old find RECRUITS an exciting introduction to Historical, Science Fiction, or Fantasy miniature and board games. To see what you may have missed, we have lots of great photos for you to look at from last year's RECRUITS.
RECRUITS also is an opportunity for experienced gamers to get together to have two fun filled days of miniature gaming and share in the joy of introducing new blood into the hobby.
Besides excellent wargames at RECRUITS, attendees will also find a great selection of wargaming products brought by dealers from around the area and many from around the Midwest. To see our complete list of Dealers Attending RECRUITS.
So there you have it: a fun filled day to do battle with gamers you know, meet new friends, and enjoy all the activities we have planned.
